Tim Lake Striped Cup | Dolomite Grey
Made in Wales by Tim Lake, these cups have beautiful scratched lines vertically throughout giving a varied organic texture that is really pleasing to hold and a minimal but intriguing look. Hand-thrown using stoneware clay and glazed in a part gas part wood-fired kiln; this gives them the varied hues and completely unique finish. A special cup for a gift, to be treasured and used daily.

Potter Tim Lake throws stoneware vessels of all shapes and sizes to be used and enjoyed. Based in Carmarthenshire, Wales, his pots have a generously creamy, organic feeling, reduction fired speckle, perfect for everyday use. Interestingly, Tim throws his work on a kick wheel, very low impact as it’s motor free, this requires lots of well-timed leg work!
With art school roots in our shop’s hometown of Falmouth, Tim has long experimented with collecting material from his locality in his work. His more recent work uses iron rich clays, and wood and gas firings in a ‘reduction’ atmosphere, creating rich, earthy, organic hues with speckles.

It depends on where you are. Orders processed here will take 5-7 business days to arrive. Overseas deliveries can take anywhere from 7-16 days. Delivery details will be provided in your confirmation email.
We are experts at wrapping ceramics and other fragile items with care. We use completely plastic-free packaging, biodegradable packing chips and recyclable paper tape.
