These versatile baskets from Maison Bengal are hand woven and crafted from the dried leaves and stems of the Hogla plant, a type of seagrass. They are circular and finished with two handles, great for storing things stylishly in the home or office. They look fabulous with large plants in them, and would make a very lovely laundry basket.

Maison Bengal is a fair trade and socially responsible, homeware company specialising in ethical practice. Sheenagh Day set up in 2004, after working in the aid industry, with the key intention of working with mothers and young women to fight poverty and provide opportunity, whilst maintaining traditional skills. They now work with over 5000 women, who are happily able to work from their homes to support their families.

It depends on where you are. Orders processed here will take 5-7 business days to arrive. Overseas deliveries can take anywhere from 7-16 days. Delivery details will be provided in your confirmation email.
We are experts at wrapping ceramics and other fragile items with care. We use completely plastic-free packaging, biodegradable packing chips and recyclable paper tape.
