Candles and Holders

Our curated candle collection with nature inspired scents from Cornwall's La Luna and plant dyed and twisted wicks from Wax Atelier. The full range of sizes in our natural beeswax hand-dipped pairs, they go perfectly with the ceramic candle stick holders by Liz Vidal or Pip Hartle for the perfect gift.

Our curated candle collection brings together natural, small-batch candles and handmade ceramic candle holders — everything you need for a cosy, considered home that smells as good as it looks. Whether you're after a scented candle gift, a self-care ritual candle or a simple beeswax dining candle for the table, this collection covers all of it without a paraffin wax or synthetic fragrance in sight.

La Luna's botanical jar candles are hand-poured in small batches by Sinead from her studio in rural Launceston, Cornwall — just up the road from us — in completely recyclable glass jars with aluminium lids, using vegan, GM-free soy wax harvested from renewable soya-bean crops. Her seasonal botanical blends, including Halvana (Siberian pine, eucalyptus and cedarwood) and Charlestown, are inspired by Cornwall's landscape and her grandmother's tradition of hand-blending lotions and potions; they make beautiful cosy candle gifts and are some of our fastest sellers all year round. La Luna tin candles in two compact blends sit at an accessible price point for a self-care candle stocking filler or a small treat alongside something bigger.

Wax Atelier's hand-dipped stubby and dining candles are made from a blend of European beeswax and green tea wax — each one double-dipped individually in plant-dyed colours including indigo, cornflower, myrtle forest green, currant and groundnut peach, with a clean, bright burn and a soft honey and matcha scent that fills a room without overpowering it. They come wrapped in their own waxed paper parcel, making them one of our favourite candle gift ideas for anyone who loves a beautiful table or a lit mantelpiece. Moorlands Candles' pure natural beeswax pillar and dining pairs — in short stubby, long stubby and long dining sizes — are the everyday workhorse of the collection: unscented, long-burning and made from 100% British beeswax.

The handmade ceramic candle holders bring the whole collection together. Pip Hartle's straight-sided and pillar candlestick holders in stoneware glazes, Liz Vidal's white speckle candle holder and Rosie Gore's coral red chequered, green check, stripe and indigo holders each pair beautifully with the Moorlands or Wax Atelier candles for a considered, gift-ready combination — a candle and ceramic holder together make one of our favourite small but thoughtful birthday or Christmas gifts.
