Eloise Rose Mug | Green and Red Stripe
A charming addition to your morning coffee, each mug is carefully hand made on the wheel using terracotta clay. Dipped in creamy white slip and then meticulously painted with a green and red stripe detail. To add a touch of elegance, each mug is finished with a satin semi-matte glaze made by Eloise, giving it a unique and polished finish. This mug is a perfect blend of heritage and modern design, making it an ideal addition to any ceramics collection.
Eloise Rose is a Falmouth based ceramicist, she often uses historical references to inspire the hand painted motif on each piece. Her background is in both period drama and opera costume design, mixed with heritage craft. After working across Europe in these areas, she began designing pieces for her home inspired by the rural design skills she picked up. On a whim, she signed up for a local market to sell some of her creations; her pieces were popular and naturally her business grew.
These mugs were inspired by Regency period dresses, designed to be worn when in the countryside, popularised in modern culture by writer Jane Austin and more recently Bridgerton.
We love these mugs as part of a mix and match set with other designs by Eloise; the clementine and the black cross.

We are experts at wrapping ceramics and other fragile items with care. We use completely plastic-free packaging, biodegradable packing chips and recyclable paper tape.
