Leach Pottery Mugs | Standard Ware

Sale price£34.00

Hand thrown in Cornwall by the Leach Pottery Studio. These large mugs are totally perfect for an everyday tea or coffee at home and the perfect addition to any ceramic collection. A classic and timeless design, these have been in production for many years.

We have two glazes available at the moment. Our dolomite glaze is the creamy white colour in our photographed ( sometimes with a hint of blue) and our classic Leach green, which is the Ash glaze.

  • We recommend these are hand washed to maintain the glaze
  • Made from stoneware clay
  • Made by Leach Pottery in St Ives, Cornwall
  • Height is 10cm, diameter is 7cm
  • Our ceramics are uniquely hand crafted - there are always slight variations between items.

The Leach Pottery, in St Ives, founded by Bernard Leach and Shoji Hamada in 1920 is respected and influential worldwide. It is known especially for its training programme that attracts potters from all over the world and has produced hundreds of talented ceramicists over its many years.  The Leach Standard ware Collection was designed by Leach/Hamada at the birth of the pottery studio and continues to thrive to this day.
