This beautiful and functional hand thrown mug is by Bristol potter, Liz Vidal. In stoneware clay, it is dipped in a series of glazes creating a layered effect in rust tones; calming and minimal. Perfect for tea or coffee, many of our customers build a collection combining tableware with Liz's other glazes too.
We have two glazed colourways to choose from...
Rust - a mix of warm browns and blue on a grey white speckled background with raw clay peeking through.
Caramel - a series of dips in warm peachy, brown tones on a white background and interior. Raw clay at the centre.

Liz Vidal creates tableware that sits so well in the hand and is a pleasure to use. Training at Manchester school of art and with London’s North Street Potters, before travelling to throw pots in Bali and Australia, she is now settled at her garden studio in Bristol. Her pieces are all hand thrown and her current collection is recognisable for its decorative multiple glaze dips, overlapping and interacting with one another in beautiful ways.

It depends on where you are. Orders processed here will take 5-7 business days to arrive. Overseas deliveries can take anywhere from 7-16 days. Delivery details will be provided in your confirmation email.
We are experts at wrapping ceramics and other fragile items with care. We use completely plastic-free packaging, biodegradable packing chips and recyclable paper tape.
