Pinched Dish with Handles | Sarah Quick
This one-off piece is a serving dish made in Yorkshire by pinch-potter Sarah Quick. Dimpled all over from the pinch pottery process, it's flat and round with short vertical sides and a lovely white translucent speckled glaze.
Sarah amazingly not only shapes the pots, she digs the clay first too! With an affinity to Cornwall and its clay-rich shores, Sarah marks each piece with where the clay comes from, this being clay from Gunwalloe, Cornwall.
- Size H: 5cm, D: 20cm (not including handles)
- This is a one off piece
- To make your piece last, wash by hand.
- Hand made in Yorkshire, UK.
- Hand dug clay from Cornwall.
Sarah digs all her own clay from around Cornwall and Yorkshire where is is based. It's a lengthly process from start to finish and is part of Sarah's commitment to her process and craft. We are very lucky to be one of only a few stockists to Sarah's pieces.
