Selwyn House Spatula | Oak

Sale price£29.00

This beautiful and unique hand-shaped spatula has been made in Derbyshire by artisan craft duo Ellie and Sean of Selwyn House.

All pieces are designed to be functional as well as beautiful, and the most important element of a Selwyn House product is that each piece is made by hand - processed from rough-sawn timber or individually turned on the lathe.

These large spatulas are made from British brown oak and are finished with a vegan mineral oil and wax blend. Deisgned from stirring up your favourite dish with their slanted edge.

  • 34 cm long, spatula head is 10cm x 6cm
  • Designed and handmade in Derbyshire, UK
  • Do not soak. Wash carefully by hand.

About Selwyn House; before getting started in woodturning and combining their creative talents to form the business, Ellie and Sean met studying Fine Art. The name of the business comes from their previous home, the place in which their first workshop was based. Their love of bringing people into their space, combined with the discovery that ‘Selwyn’ is an anglo saxon word roughly translating as ‘friend in the house’ made this name perfect for them and their products. We love it.
