Vintage Mud Cloth Cushion | Esther | Black

Sale price£59.00

We use authentic vintage Mali mud cloth fabric to create these cushions in our studio here in Cornwall. This elegant square cushion has a striking black and white pattern and is complete with a sturdy, off-white cotton calico back. Our plump ethically-sourced feather cushions are luxuriously soft but hard-wearing and add the ultimate comfort to any sofa, chair  or bed. Each piece made with this beautiful fabric is fabulously unique and the black and white designs work with every colour scheme.

  • Size: 50cm x 50cm
  • Material: 100% Cotton
  • Feather cushion insert included
  • Closure: Gold YKK zip at top edge
  • Care: Cold hand wash cover only
  • Vintage fabric can show signs of ageing and each cushion has a unique, individual design

Discovered by Ondine during a LA road trip, this handmade vintage fabric comprises narrow woven strips of fabric sewn together by craftsmen in Mali which is then dyed with a fermented mud and finished with a handprinted resist-dye design.

The feather filled cushion pad is made in a small UK factory in East Sussex using ethically sourced RDS (responsible down standard) certified feathers.
